Our Faith
St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School is a Catholic, parochial educational institution which strives to make disciples for Christ through members learning to Serve the Church and people of God, to Care for others and self, and to Become well-formed and highly educated individuals. Founded in 1955 as a ministry of a church of the same name, the School provides formation for many children of the parish and surrounding areas of far northwest Oklahoma City. Continuing this work for more than 70 years, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School extends the goals of its founding entity by having a high focus on the Catholic Social Teachings.

St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School (SCBOKC) offers quality Catholic education for students in Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. We are a proud part of this Parish, which is located in Warr Acres, OK, a township located within Oklahoma City. The School also is part of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. We are the only Catholic school in the Putnam City School District. The School is accredited by the Oklahoma State Department of Education through the Oklahoma Private School Accreditation Commission and the Oklahoma Conference of Catholic Schools Accrediting Association.
Catholic education is a choice, a choice which we are proud to offer to our parishioners, other Catholics, and those of other Christian faiths who value the long and storied history of Catholic education. The excellent faculty and staff, along with the support of a great parent-and-Church community, strive to provide excellent Catholic education every day. What does this mean?
First, Catholic faith, which for us means that we are Christ-centered, focused on prayer, and live our faith reflecting on ways to enact it, especially the Church's social teachings. These are summed up in part of our Mission Statement emblazoned on our crest: "Serving, Caring, Becoming." However, also important is being a School; therefore, we maintain a high standard of academics both in our curricula as well as our achievements.
